Journal 6- Good or Fail

That's My Boy stars Adam Sandler where he is this very outgoing and obnoxious guy. The more stupid he acts the more women he attracts, and the more men want to be him. Adam Sandler is pretty popular in Hollywood and has a lot of fans that follow him. The problem is, is that his fans don't follow far. Sandler has had many great movies that bring in a lot of money at the box office, but this is not one of them. In this movie Sandler went out of his comfort zone and his fans didn't follow. He is very good at certain roles but when he does one that is far from his grounds nobody really cares for it and it turns out a fail. I have never seen this movie but would like to to see if what everybody else thinks and is saying about it is true.

Journal 5: Transformers round 4

Transformers started just as a cartoon with a few kid action figures and now has turned into a huge hit. With all the movies put out, Transformers has been very successful. The director, Michael Bay, had said that there will be some new cast members in this upcoming film, one of which is Mark Wahlberg. If you are unfamiliar with him he is in many different kinds of movies. A few include: Shooter, The Fighter, The Departed, Contraband, The Other Guys, and his newest film, Ted. Bay explains how he thinks Wahlberg has been in multiple action films and that he would fit the part well. From my own opinion, I agree. I've seen his acting in some of these films listed and think he would do very well in the new Transformers movie. I have also seen the three previous Transformers movies and like them a great deal. If you too are a Transformers fan I recommend that you see this film when it comes out, June 27, 2014. I'm sure it will be just as mind-blowing as the others.

Journal 4- Star Wars Franchise Sold!

Just a few days ago, Disney bought out Lucasfilm for $4 billion. Adding to there large collection the Star Wars franchise. George Lucas the creator of Lucasfilm never really wanted to grow the company. He was never a part of Hollywood and would leave as soon as he had a hit. This was what seemed to be the only exit strategy and way out of the company. He is very happy to have sold it to Disney. The only thing is where does it go from here? He's not really sure how Disney will handle Star Wars and any re-creations of the episodes. There is a plan on releasing Star Wars Episode VII in the year 2015. Nobody will know how Disney will do with the making but I guess the only thing is to wait and find out.
