That's My Boy stars Adam Sandler where he is this very outgoing and obnoxious guy. The more stupid he acts the more women he attracts, and the more men want to be him. Adam Sandler is pretty popular in Hollywood and has a lot of fans that follow him. The problem is, is that his fans don't follow far. Sandler has had many great movies that bring in a lot of money at the box office, but this is not one of them. In this movie Sandler went out of his comfort zone and his fans didn't follow. He is very good at certain roles but when he does one that is far from his grounds nobody really cares for it and it turns out a fail. I have never seen this movie but would like to to see if what everybody else thinks and is saying about it is true.
I agree that most artists get famous for doing a certain type of movie. When those actors try to break out and try something new fans react all different ways. I know that when I love an actor I will watch most of their movies.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely with what Elisabeth said. Whenever and actor breaks out of their comfort zone their fans aren't as excited about it.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like one of those "dumb" comedies which aren't my kind of movies. I really like Adam Sandler and think he is a great actor but the movie and plot have a lot to do with the performance.
